Caring for Merino name

Did you know all our Baby Caterpillar one hundred percent merino can be washed in the washing machine - YES its true, hand washing is highly overrated, especially when you have a beautiful, new baby and very little sleep.

Providing you use a gentle or wool wash and a wool approved detergent only, then in it goes...  It is important that you take it out for the washing machine straight away to prevent colour bleeding, and NEVER soak or use any bleach as this will result in holes.

And drying is a sinch too - take it straight out of the washing machine, and throw it in the dryer on a low heat setting and you good to go again for the evening sleep.   Of course you can also dry it flat away from direct sunlight, but if its a cold winter day you might not get it back on baby before bedtime.

HINT - if you find that you get some pilling after the first few washes, wash it together will a pair of jeans and you will see a noticeable improvement with the pilling.
