We only use 100% New Zealand made super soft merino which used against your babies skin will help absorb and release moisture and trap or circulate air as needed to regulate the temperature. Merino will keep your baby warm in winter and cool in the summertime. Merino is an ideal fabric to use if you suffer from skin sensitivity and because it is natural it is the perfect loving touch.
100% pure and natural cotton makes for perfect summer time sleeping. Velvet to the touch, there is nothing purer to put next to your newborn babies skin when sleeping during the warm summer months, when greater airflow is needed.
It works great together with merino for added softness, breathability and durability. Cotton is also extremely easy to take care of.
Our blankets are made to match our beautiful merino sleeping bags, gowns and wraps. We use two layers of pure, natural fabrics - one side is merino, and the other side is 100% cotton, then we bind both together to form the purest merino and cotton bedding around.
All our beautiful blankets can be used in the bedroom or when you are out and about.
And as with all our Baby Caterpillar garments our blankets are machine washable and able to be tumble dried (on a cool setting).
